Creating User Roles

The Add User Role screen is where user roles are created. Users are assigned to a user role. The user role determines the permissions available to users assigned to that role.

  1. On the Advanced Setup > Labour > User Roles page, click Add User Role.
  2. The Add User Role page appears. Fill the following fields:
    1. Name: Enter a name for the user role, such as Manager.
    2. Cross Reference (optional): Enter a cross-reference number.
  3. Under Permissions, select what users assigned to this role should be have access to view, create, update, or delete in BOH.
  4. Click Save User Role.

The user role is now ready to be assigned to users in the Adding Users screen.
