Mandatory Charges

The Mandatory Charges setup screen allows you to configure automatic house and/or service charges to a check.

• To add Mandatory Charges you select Add Mandatory Charge

• You will name the charge.

• Select type house or service charge.

•  Note: House charges only allow dollar amounts if the department does not have 'order by Seat' Enabled .

   

  House Charge type allows a dollar or percentage amount. Service Charge type allows a percentage amount that can be triggered on number of guests

   

• Define your dollar or percent amount.

  Optional: There is an option to choose rounding.

• If a tax is required you can choose your tax group from the drop down.

• Define your category and/or menu entries.

  Assign a department to the charge.

• Select Save Mandatory Charge.

2. To edit an existing charge select from the Mandatory Charges select the name of the charge you want to edit and using the same fields above edit as needed.

3. You can delete a Mandatory Charge when you select delete on the row of the charge you want to delete.
